Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lucevault ("the Service", "we", "us"), a time-tracking application operated by Kloobel Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with registration number 79524275, with its registered office at Unit 2904-05, 29/F, Universal Trade Centre, No.3 Arbuthnot Road, Central, Hong Kong. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service lets you record time by activity, organize it with categories and dimensions, and review it through insights and summaries. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We will try to give you reasonable notice of material changes.

2. Your account

  • You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and agree to these Terms.
  • You may not share access to a paid plan in a way that lets others use your account without permission.

3. Subscriptions and payments

  • Account creation, onboarding, and browsing are free. Recording or editing time entries requires an active Pro subscription ("Pro"), billed monthly or yearly as shown at sign-up.
  • Payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your card details.
  • Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Canceling stops future billing and moves your account to read-only at the end of the current billing period — your data and account stay intact, and you can resubscribe at any time to resume editing.
  • Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable.
  • We may change prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice before renewal. Continued use after the change counts as acceptance.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' data.
  • Scrape, probe, or overload the Service's infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer the Service or copy its design beyond what these Terms allow.
  • Use the Service to generate, store, or transmit abusive or unlawful content.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter into the Service. We only use it to run and improve the Service for you.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content such as guides, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own purposes. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law.

7. Termination

Canceling your Pro subscription (Section 3) does not delete your account or data — it moves your account to read-only. To permanently delete your account and data, use the delete-account option in Settings, which is a separate, irreversible action.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will delete your data per our Privacy Policy unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for backing up anything that matters to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
