Time tracking for personal use is a personal diary and planner of how you spent your hours, not a tool for watching employees. Lucevault is a web-first tracker: you log time on the day, week, and month grid. Analytics show where time went and what tends to go together. It is for people who want to understand their time the way they already track money. Time is the only non-renewable resource.
Personal time tracking is a log of actuals, not employee monitoring. Some products in this category are built for companies: timesheets, team reports. Some trackers make you set a client or project first. Others auto-log every app and site. Lucevault does not auto-log apps or sites. You fill the week on a grid and keep the picture for yourself. You can open any past day on the grid and see what you logged (history also remains if the subscription lapses).

Lucevault shows a day, week, and month grid, so you see the week as a grid rather than a list of timers. You name what you were doing; you can add extra labels if you want (who you were with, which project).
Pricing
Lucevault Pro is $10/month or $96/year. Writing on the grid requires an active subscription. If a subscription lapses, history and insights remain available. Lucevault is not free forever.
How the others price, as of 30 August 2026:
- Toggl Track (pricing): free for a limited number of users. Toggl’s own pricing page does not print that number. Calendar integrations are listed on free. Starter starts at $9/license/month on the annual toggle. Timesheet approvals are Premium, not Starter.
- Clockify: the free plan is 5 active users (owner + 4). That is not unlimited users. Clockify’s help page states the cap: Updates to Clockify’s Free plan. A solo user can stay on that plan for basic tracking and PDF. CSV/Excel export and billable rates are paid.
- RescueTime: automatic computer-activity tracker (apps and sites). Paid Solo / Team plans. No dollar figure is listed here because none was taken from a public page we fetched.
